The Rancho Cucamonga Teen Summit helps bring teens together to discuss issues affecting their community. The summit creates a safe space where teens can feel empowered, connected and can make a real difference.
Guest Speakers touched on how they overcame adversity and have built resilience as well as building support systems that help to further develop their growth. The Teen Summit provided a variety of activities that revolve around positive psychology, building coping skills, active listening as well as finding resources and building a culture of kindness and compassion.
A diverse resource fair was available for teens to sign up to volunteer for various county, city, library and youth leadership programs. Students also had the chance to find other resources from various organizations surrounding mental health and identity support.
