The city of Rancho Cucamonga celebrated its history on November 10th, 2018 with a Founders Day Parade with the theme, Music for the Generations – The Soundtrack of Our Lives.
The community was able to participate through an application form found on The City of Rancho Cucamonga’s website. Schools and non-profit organizations were given a free entrance onto the parade route. Everyone came ready to celebrate with unique parade floats for all ages to enjoy.
Floats, color and music galore turned Daycreek Blvd. into a flurry of fun!
The day also honored veterans and hometown heroes, which was the perfect way to kickoff the Veteran’s Day Weekend.
After each decorated float has made its way through the parade path there is an awards ceremony to recognize those who displayed Highest Participation, Best Representation of Theme and Most Spirited among many more.
We hope to see you next year as the celebration seems to be getting better every year!
