Airing this month on our Special 100th Episode of Healthy RC Living ~ October 4th is International Walk to School day, where thousands of schools around the world join together to get outdoors, walk with friends to class and support active living.
Rancho Cucamonga is a city with a long, proud history and once a year, everyone gets together to celebrate at the annual Founder’s Day Parade. This year, the parade will be held on Saturday November 11th and the theme is 40 years of home town heroes.

In celebration for our 100th episode, let’s look back on a few of our favorite episodes on Health RC Living. We had the honor of featuring Sam Maloof, the oldest living artist with his work at the Smithsonian, at his museum in Alta Loma. We also got to watch as the community helped spread kindness in the Love Like Dawson movement and find ways to #BeKind.
The City of Rancho Cucamonga is offering free cooking classes to promote healthy eating habits and teach the community how to prepare more nutritious food, through The Cosinando Amigos Saludables y Alegres or C.A.S.A.
A new segment on Healthy RC focused on the 0 to 5 population as research shows that the first five year of a child’s life has the most impact on their success in life.
The Quake’s baseball team and organization has been a big part of the Rancho Cucamonga community and a great place to go with family and friends. All this will continue but the team is welcoming Bobby Brett as the New Managing Partner.
Finally, our military veterans have done so much for our freedom and Rancho Cucamonga wanted a way to honor those who helped keep us safe. The Freedom Courtyard is under constructs and the completed project will consist of a central focal piece, a flag courtyard, a time line wall of our nations conflicts, a flag retirement urn, benches, a memory box where visitors can write messages along with some sort of water element.
