For over ten years the IncredABLES program, which offers young adults with all abilities within the special needs community the chance to meet friends with similar life experiences, has listened to their participant’s desire to expand their athleticism. The latest sport that the IncredABLES are playing is bocce ball. The sport is offering those with physical and mental disabilities a space to enjoy the company of their peers. Even parents of the IncredABLES enjoy the time to see old friends and make new friendships with every activity offered by the program.
Every week nine IncredABLE athletes come together and get involved in creating a positive community in Rancho Cucamonga. Throughout the year, the classes that are offered vary. Summer is an exciting time, however, because there are more opportunities to participate since school is out, and fun is in! Under the shade of the park trees every Wednesday in Ralph and Lewis Park the growing program is meeting the needs of active members of the community who wish to enjoy a friendly game. Everyone is welcome to come out and play because the game aspires to bring Rancho Cucamonga’s residents together in a safe environment
