Healthy RC’s Youth Leaders were recognized for their efforts in the community over the course of this year where the young volunteers received certificates and honorary mention. Comprised of various Rancho Cucamonga children and young adults who have different backgrounds and attend varying schools in the district, the HRC Youth Leaders contribute an honest voice in the community. They diligently attend meetings and local events where they have opportunities to serve their fellow residents. Some of the year’s highlights include the mental health discussion, submitting a short film to Directing Change’s film festival, and the Teen Forum.
These young voices are passionate about the improvement of their city, which inspires them to volunteer. One of the many perks of being an HRC Youth Leader are the friends that are made over the course of the year. Spending hours together working for great causes in their community has created a familial bond amongst the members that last forever.
