Rancho Cucamonga neighborhoods located on Sierra Madre, Vinmar, and Calavaras are looking brighter thanks to the efforts of residents and city workers who participated in their community’s cleanliness. The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Office took notice of garbage build-up in and around homes and took action by providing five dumpster bins and the generous helping hands of city workers. Community improvement manager Jane Cook was impressed by the eager residents who were lining up prior to the start of the event. Together, the community disposed of bulky items that would otherwise be near impossible to remove due to lack of transportation or physical ability. This is one of many efforts to come for the city of Rancho Cucamonga to participate in the the cleanliness of their city.
